Ontario, November 26, 2025 — The Government of Canada’s newly announced steel measures mark an
important and welcomed step forward for Canada’s industrial competitiveness. Today’s announcement
is a much-needed first step, and we fully support the Federal Government’s decision to implement
a 25% tariff on imported steel-derivative products and fasteners.
