We Ontarians should wonder, was IESO trying to demonstrate their grid management skills

or were the pipelines bringing the gas to us from Alberta & the US shut down by our Federal Minister

of the Environment and Climate Change, Steven Guilbeault? We should hope not as winter is coming

and 60% of Ontario households depend on natural gas to heat their homes.

Hopefully it was simply a demonstration project IESO undertook to show how clean our

electricity generation is with our gas plants standing ready to meet our demand when it’s higher!
