The IESO data also discloses Ontario’s net exports (exports minus imports)

to our neighbours in Michigan, New York and Quebec. It reports

that during those 24 hours on Aug. 8, the net export was 37,645 MW.

This is coincidentally close to the total output of all turbines on that day.
