The foregoing (more costs) will surely come to pass should the OEB insist

those LDC fully execute the “system readiness for demand from EV charging“

as their letter of August 28, 2023 to all Ontario LDC includes an invitation

to apply for rate increases. To go along with that the Federal Government

has mandated “20% of new passenger cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks sold

in Canada to be electric starting in 2026“ and it increases as time marches on.
